Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla welcome you to join one of their experienced guides on a tour to discover the history, inspiration and unique organic management behind this incredible series of gardens. Your 1½-hour tour will be led by one of our experienced guides. In addition to revealing the gardens’ history, organic management and sources of inspiration, they will explain the hidden curious and horticultural innovations behind them. Highgrove is a place of peace and tranquillity, where The King's passion and imagination have been etched onto the Cotswold landscape. From the magnificent Wildflower Meadow to the enchanting setting of the Arboretum, the gardens embody His Majesty's gardening ideals and organic principles. Guests will enjoy a delicious two course lunch served in the Orchard Room restaurant after their tour. The Group Tour menu is created by the Highgrove Chef’s using the most seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients. Chicken Supreme, served with crushed new potatoes, seasonal vegetables & jus, followed by Seasonal Eton Mess using the most seasonal fruit and served with broken meringue pieces & freshly whipped cream. Following your group’s garden tour, there will be time to browse in the Highgrove Shop at The Coronation Pavilion, where you’ll find a selection of bespoke Highgrove products, including special edition artworks. Inspired by the gardens, our collection includes a delicious range of Highgrove food and alcohol, homeware, and accessories, as well as other unique pieces exclusively designed for Highgrove. Highgrove is the private home of Their Majesties The King Charles III and The Queen Camilla. All visitors must bring a form of photographic ID, ideally a passport, driving licence or bus pass. Due to the landscape and nature of the Gardens, wheelchairs and mobility scooters should be the type well suited to rough, uneven ground, gravel and rugged pathways. Some surfaces may also be slippery when wet. We suggest wearing sturdy shoes or wellington boots and suitable outdoor clothing, especially in wet weather. Dietary requirements will be catered for on an individual basis, please advise when you make your booking. Both hot & cold drinks can be purchased on the day. Menu is subject to change depending on seasonality. The use of mobile phones and cameras is restricted to certain areas of the Estate which will be explained to you on entry. Binoculars and other forms of recording equipment are not allowed for security reasons. Random bag checks may be carried out for security reasons. Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere at Highgrove.
