Mamma Mia! The Party takes place at Nikos Taverna on the beautiful island of Skopelos, where the first Mamma Mia! movie was shot. As the sun sets on the island, a secret romance is blossoming amongst the hustle and bustle of Nikos' family-run taverna and you won't have to leave your seat to watch the drama unfold. Unless you want to that is,  Featuring ABBA's legendary music and a hilarious new story adapted by Sandi Toksvig you will be taken from dinner to dancing and find yourself lost in a fabulous dream world for the night. With Greek cuisine, like all Mediterranean food, if you give it love you'll get love in return. So I hope you'll all feel it with a special menu I've put together collecting the best Greece has to offer, made from the finest ingredients. Mezze - To get you going, the table will be served with a traditional Greek mezze of breads, dips and olives. Starters - The iconic Greek salad with fresh cherry tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese and onions all drizzled with olive oil and garnished with torn basil leaves. For vegan guests, the Greek salad comes with vegan feta. Mains - Confit lamb shoulder and slow cooked beef served with roasted garlic potatoes, courgettes peperonata, romesco and aromatic jus. For our vegetarian and vegan guests, we present roasted cauliflower with a lemon-herb dressing and stuffed tomato with lentil ragout. Desserts - A sumptuous Greek lemon cake served with confit orange skin and citrus yoghurt. For our vegan guests, we will be serving loukoumades, delicious dough balls accompanied by a sweet fig jam. After various collaborations as duos and trios, in April 1970 Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad took a holiday to Cyprus together and performed on the beach to United Nations soldiers stationed on the island. After naming themselves ABBA (a letter to represent each member), their international breakthrough came at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest where their winning entry Waterloo has since passed into pop music legend. And, the stats only support the scale of ABBA's global stardom and enduring appeal: 9 UK number ones, 18 consecutive top ten singles and over 385 million records sold worldwide! Mamma Mia! The Party recreates an authentic taverna in an old town square on the Greek island of Skopelos, where the original movie was filmed. Using extraordinary detail from the second you set foot into the space, the world becomes real: from a tourism office to souvenir stands, you will feel like you have taken a flight to Greece without actually leaving terra firma. As you are welcomed to Nikos Taverna on the beautiful Greek island of Skopelos, a love story is starting to unfold. Romance is never far from a starry night like this and, as a delicious four-course meal is served, it comes with a side of drama.
